IOWA trophy whitetail and turkey hunting farm for lease!!!! Located just south of the Racoon River just west of Des Moines. The farm consists of mature timber, draws, creek frontage, and tons of edge habitat. The farm has had minimal hunting pressure but has produced several trophy whitetails over the years. There is easy owned access off of Jewell Ln. that enters the owner's driveway near the home. The owner has a few stands and box blinds that would be available for use after inspection. The lessee is not allowed to make any substantial changes to the property, cut trees, alter field borders, etc. without owner approval. Lessee may place hang-on deer stands, ladder stands, soft side blinds, or box blinds on the property as long as they could be removed after the lease term. The owner would prefer the draw behind the house to not be hunted. The draw has been maintained as a sanctuary. The landowner is reserving the right to hunt during Iowa's late muzzleloader season. The landowner will communicate with leasse to establish huntable dates during late muzzleloader season.
